  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tour departure.
  • It is recommended you wear quick dry clothes and water/river shoes/flip-flops
  • Bring sun protection (sunhat, sunglasses, sun screen), a camera, and a towel to dry off afterwards.
  • There is no restroom at the meeting location. The last public restroom is at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location. We recommend you stop there before your tour.

This manatee kayak trip was great. Small group- just 5 of us along with the guide. Guide - TJ- was great- knowledgable, friendly, personable, and attentive. Saw tons of alligators and blue heron and manatees!

Great for novice or experienced kayaked and a fantastic way to experience the river ecosystem and its inhabitants! Our guide was extremely knowledgable and able to take each opportunity to point out and inform about whatever may appear. Just don't forget the sunscreen!

Jimi made the whole adventure so easy to enjoy, not to mention safe. This was my first time kayaking and loved it. Watching the manatees was so special. The herons and numerous other birds were fascinating, especially with the context info provided by our guide. Spotting alligators and turtles was fun. Learned so much about the ecology of the river while enjoying the Florida sun 🌞
