Avoid the crowds of the other "cattle boats" in Kona, and enjoy a small-group manta ray snorkeling experience with a maximum of 12 passengers.

This tour departs from Keahou Harbor in South Kona and enjoys a short 5-minute boat ride to our snorkeling site, Manta Village.

Your Captain and snorkel guide will educate you on Kona's famous manta rays and will discuss our safe and humane approach to engaging with the gentle giants.

After entering the water, you'll hold onto our lightboard, with your feet propped up by floatation devices, as the manta rays perform a graceful ballet beneath you. The manta rays filter feed on plankton that naturally gathers at the surface just before sunset, then accumulates underneath our lights. This is an opportunity to enjoy an evening on the water and watch in amazement as the manta rays glide around and dance for you.

We are proud to be a Green Listed company, and we take an environmentally cautious approach to our interactions with the manta rays.

Great guides and very worthwhile experience! I did get this at a discount and would note that Costco has it available for even less (we'd already booked and didn't want to go through the hassle of rebooking).

Great, fun experience. We did the earlier tour so we got to witness an awesome sunset whilst waiting for the mantas to arrive. Captain Jason and Hunter took care of us and were welcoming, fun and knowledgeable. We saw a number of different manta rays & experienced that close up feeding routine which is spectacular. Such a buzz to be inches away from these gentle creatures. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the lack of time spent in the water. The trip is stated to be 1.5 hrs. We launched in the boat and were back at the dock within 45 minutes. Approximately 25 minutes of that was in the water. I simply wanted to stay longer and for the cost of the trip it didn't seem the best value. Having said that, the experience is fantastic and I would highly recommend.

This tour is awesome. You can see manta rays up close and so many of them. The tour guide Hunter made the whole experience even more awesome he took good care of everyone and knew exactly how to react if someone panics or gets sea sick. Awesome crew!!
