What an incredible experience we had with Manta Adventures! Captain Bill and Shauna made this an amazing experience for myself, my mom, and sister. They were very knowledgeable about the manta rays, and obviously put a lot of care into their operation. From how clean the boat is (absolutely spotless) to how much respect they show for these animals and the environment, I can't recommend them enough. Sure, you leave a bit earlier than the other boats, but the wait goes quick and they make sure you're comfortable, providing pineapple to snack on and even booklets with fascinating information about the manta rays you're going to see. The wait is completely worth it; we saw so many manta rays! The actual experience of seeing the manta rays is breathtaking. They're literally inches from your face. I couldn't believe how close they were and we got some incredible video. It was also nice that our group of people was smaller than any of the other boats we saw out there. It made for a relaxed and personal experience. I know a lot of boats and companies offer manta ray snorkels, but Manta Adventures is the one to go with! Thank you to Captain Bill and Shauna for an experience we will never forget!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Manta Adventures this week. Six people in my family agree that Captain Bill runs a first-rate program, all designed to make the best possible experience. First off, 1 day before our scheduled manta dive/snorkel, one of my family members had a fever and another had a stomach bug. They let us postpone the whole thing 1 day without any problem. That was highly appreciated. Captain Bill and Tanner were helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. The boat was comfortable and clean. They have a smart system in place to allow for the highest probability of an amazing experience with the manta rays… by getting to the best mooring spot early, teaching the grown-ups and kids all about the mantas, waiting to enter to the water at the right time so we didn’t get cold too early, helping the littler kids in and out of the water, the warm fresh water shower (SO appreciated), snacks afterwards… it was just perfect. I hate spending money on companies and experiences that don’t deliver a good product. This was money well spent. I have lots of gopro footage to prove it. And finally, about the manta rays… there’s no guarantee that they’ll come right up to you and barrel roll inches from you… but they did for us, more times than we could count. My daughters loved it and will probably never forget it. The whole experience was awesome. We had a great time with Captain Bill and Tanner. Highly recommended by each of us. J

This was probably one of the best experience in my life. Snorkeling above the giant manta in the ocean is something unique that I strongly recommend. The manta were so close to our face and body, performing amazing evolutions while catching the plancton right in front of us. It looked like a dance and there were so many of them that we lost count at some point. Captain Bill was very professional and his boat is neat and well equipped, and has a special light set underneath that attact more plancton, and therefore more manta, than the other boats in the bay. Shauna on the deck was very professional too, and gave us plenty of advices on how to behave in the water around the manta, to make sure that they weren't hurt or scared. By following the crew instructions, we had the best experience, and when the sky is dark, we could still see very well the white bellies of the manta, that seem to be glowing of their own light when illuminated by the magenta lights of the boat and floating board. I recommend this company among others because even if relatively new, they have precise rules and techniques that guarantee a complete success. For example, we were out in the ocean before anybody else, so we could catch the best spot in the bay (first come first served). The boat is brand new, therefore even if we had to wait a bit longer before jumping in the water, it was super comfortable enjoying the sunset eating fresh Hawaiian pineapple. Oh, and by the way, Captain Bill makes awesome home-made cookies, so you can fix your jaws after biting on the snorkles :) Go for it guys, you will have the best time in Hawaii !!! P.S. I am not adding photos or videos because I believe this is an expericen to be lived rather than recorded, so I don't want to spoil this opportunity.
