Please remember that these manta rays are completely wild animals. They are not fed or trained. Eka Canoe Adventures cannot guarantee their presence. Even if the manta rays take a night off, our operating costs do not. Because of this, we are unable to offer refunds for tours where manta rays were not seen; only another chance to snorkel with them. This is true for any manta ray snorkel provider in Kona. We greatly appreciate your understanding!
In the unlikely event that we do not spot a manta ray on your tour, our Manta Ray Guarantee will ensure you have another opportunity to come back for another attempt on a different evening or on a future visit to Kona, Hawai’i (pending available seats)
Minimum age allowed onboard is 5 years old
We only collect height and weight during booking to calculate the size of your wetsuit top. There's no way to simply ask for your shirt size here

great experience and much easier than i had thought. manta rays came right up and swam very close!!! awesome and the 2 crew members… captain and lifeguard were outstanding

Weather cancelled previous bookings I had with other companies and took a shot on the last night to catch Manta Rays while snorkeling. Eka was recommended by Kona Boys at our hotel and they FAR exceeded my expectations. The dock had 100 people loading on crowded boats and our awesome small group of 8 boarded this sweet little catamaran style boat and headed out. A short trip and we watched sunset and dropped in. The small profile allowed the guides to move us to specific "hot spots" and capture amazing interactions with the Mantas! A quick load back on the boat and we were back to the dock. With experiences with other companies...Eka Canoe Adventures really delivered the goods!

Chayden and Lakoa were super professional, very fun and made us feel safe the entire trip. From the second we got into the water until the second we got out we saw rays. The canoe was extremely safe and handled the swells better than the other boats did. Over all super fun time and I would definitely do it again!
