Very entertaining tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about history of the area and of the US. I really enjoy history so learning the “firsts” of Manteo was a true pleasure. Highly recommend This tour.

Chief D is a master storyteller as well as a great improvisor! He needed to do a lot of both the night of our tour! I believe there is now a record for the most rain in the shortest period of time ever in the town of Manteo. The rain couldn't stop the Chief's delightful stories and we certainly learned a lot of new information about an area we have known for years. I felt like we had "insider information". Very enjoyable night rain and all. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Wow! You are really too kind. You know I always tell our guests “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute it will change”. That axiom was certainly true that evening. True to Manteo form, the weather shortly cleared and it was really a nice evening. Your group was great and like a testament to our people, we endured!
