This tour along with the guide were fantastic! I have taken prior history tours in the OBX, but this one definitely tops those. It is obvious Chief D’Ambra is extremely knowledgeable of the area and is very passionate about history. The tour has everything. History, laughs, and even muscadine preserves!

The tour was very well presented. With only 4 people it made the tour more personal not to mention the perfect weather. Our tour lasted a little over 2 hours. We were here in early with minimal crowds.

Thank you so much! I always try to throw in some extra stories when we have smaller groups and the weather is as perfect as it was when you visited. Our season has been rather busy but we always try to keep the tour intimate so our guests can feel free to ask questions and interact with me as your guide and other guests. We do have an extraordinary history here in Manteo and it’s great to have groups like yours join us. Thanks again and please visit us again soon!

The tour was highly informative as well as entertaining. My husband and I have lived in Manteo for three years and the tour provided us with additional insight as to why our town is so unique. We highly recommend going if you are interested in learning about Manteo's special contributions to our nation's history.
