Former Chief of Police D’Ambra led a fascinating, unique tour of Manteo’s history. As another reviewer said, the chief told us that when you scratch the surface of history, you find more history. He’s a treasure trove of facts and stories about Manteo and the surrounding areas. This was a tour to remember. Wonderful.

The Chief is an amazing guide and truly made my trip. I am so glad that I found this tour and more importantly discovered that beautiful town that is full of so much to love!!! It was a small group and very intimate. I will be back to that town and the region not to play laser tag, but to enjoy the amazing history, the beauty, and the incredible hospitality. Thank you for your time, Chief!

You are so kind to have said such nice things. This town is an incredible place to live and visit. There are so many things to do here on the Outer Banks to both entertain and enlighten you. I am so glad to have been a small part in making your stay here all the more enjoyable. Please do come back anytime. Don't forget, next time you visit maybe you can see the Tundra Swan migration in this beautiful estuary.
