Chief D'Ambra is amazing! His knowledge and passion for history and the Town of Manteo showed throughout the walking tour. He’s very skilled in storytelling. I highly recommend the Manteo Historic Walking Tour.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had plenty of stories to share. We enjoyed learning about all of the “firsts” that happened on the island.

It was lovely to have a someone with such a personal connection to Manteo. His passion and knowledge are all you need to scratch into the amazing history of this area. I love history and I would pay good money to know everything that he knows! The tour was stroller accessible (even though the baby talked over him the whole time… sorry friends), and my 9 year old didn’t have any trouble keeping up with the pace or conversation. He is charismatic and welcoming and exudes every bit of warmth that the outer banks has to offer. Thank you again for showing us the ropes!!!!
