This intimate tour of the winery and chat with the winemaker is a fantastic way to experience Seven Birches Wines. Seven Birches Winery, located within the grand new Riverwalk Resort at Loon Mountain, in the White Mountains of NH, is hand-crafting classic European grape varietals and locally sourced fruits into wines of distinction.

Mark gave us an amazing tour yesterday! The tour included the history of the winery from foundation to now. He answered all our questions thoughtfully now matter how silly or random they seemed. I highly highly recommend this tour and the wine!

The wine is wonderful, but I would not recommend spending $40 on this tour. Our tour got started 20 minutes late and then lasted 40 minutes longer than scheduled. The tour and tasting are also all standing- so we were standing on concrete for two hours, which was not a pleasant experience. In lieu of the tour, I’d recommend just getting a couple of bottles to enjoy in the beautiful tasting room instead of standing in a basement.

Thank you very much for this candid review. We ALWAYS appreciate feedback and will certainly take yours into account. This particular day was on Columbus weekend, our busiest weekend of the year, not only for us, but for the whole White Mountains of NH. The traffic in town made everyone late, except for you, and we thought we were helping the tour by delaying the start and waiting for the others to arrive. We are very sorry that you waited those 20 minutes for the others. We though that you were OK with the wait. The tour also went long, which most people appreciated. We can understand that you were unhappy with this. Some of the others arrived almost an hour after the start, so we did our best to accommodate everyone. As far as the tour of the wine cellar is concerned, it is indeed standing and is in the actual winery, on concrete floors. We are sorry that you had a different expectation of what a winery tour would be. We aim to be clear in our marketing, but it seems we may have fallen short for you. We hope you find your way back to NH sometime in the future and we hope to see you again.

We totally enjoyed the story around the wine making process. The speaker was actually the winemaker - very passionate for his profession. Worth the time and money spent!
