Take a relaxing horse trail ride through one of the most beautiful and largest urban parks in the USA. At a size of 4,500 acres this area covers more than five times the area of Central Park in New York City. While riding the horse trails with your trail guide, you'll have the opportunity to see deer, ducks, cranes and other wildlife. The horses are well-trained and can handle riders with all levels of experience.

Choose from morning or afternoon departures. All riders must weigh less than 240 lbs

We had a great experience at Shelby Farms Stables. The setting was beautiful, the horses were calm and very well-cared-for. Shout out to our guide Jess. Her enthusiasm for horses and riding was contagious, and she made my daughter feel like a pro by the end of the ride. Jess struck the perfect balance between making the experience safe and fun. My daughter ran back to school to tell everyone about her new friend Jess and the great horses of Shelby Farms. We will be back!

The ride was great. Crystal was the best ever, she was informative, professional and entertaining. This was buy far the best trail in the Memphis area.

What a wonderful first time experience. The ride was so therapeutic to me, so peaceful & so fun. My horse nane was Taz, he was so charming & sweet. I came there not knowing much about horses, I left there knowing more than I ever knew. Definitely been recommending people to come try it out, won’t regret it.
