First at all, call it “Mercer Children’s Labs” would be more appropriate; secondly, almost $60 per adult, $53 per youth age 4-17, including $3 processing fee and tax. Wow! The only good thing about this unbelievable price tag is that there are not many visitors there, at least not at the time I visited it, Saturday morning. I really expected a lot of more impressive exhibitions or larger scales. Actually I was really looking forward to visiting this new museum. Teamlab Tokyo offers more impressive visual effects on much larger scale and only costs less than half. I guess that Mercer Labs’ prime location has something to do with the ticket price. Anyway I was very disappointed. ☹️

My visit to Mercer Labs was just okay. There are 14 exhibits, mostly filled with mirrors and lights on a screen. Also, you are required to put on black shoe coverings. I agree with other reviewers that there's no clear theme, and to learn about each room, you have to scan a QR code before entering to read on your phone. I booked the earliest time slot at 11 AM and went ahead of that group, so I had the rooms all to myself and managed to see everything within 40 minutes. Although the exhibits were bright with lights, they lacked the WOW factor and its uniqueness. For the price of $59, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are many other cool exhibits in NYC that are worth the cost and time. If you don’t care much about the price, then it might be worth a visit. It wasn't crowded when I went so that added to my experience.

This was AWESOME! It took about two hours to go through 15 rooms of different experiences with my children. We stopped at our own pace in each room and enjoyed each very different experience. The kids loved the ball pit room. They created drawings that were scanned and then brought to life on a screen. Great air conditioning and comfortable relaxation in some rooms. It’s so creative!
