Ah-h-h... The Food Tour world!! Easily 80% of my guests have never been on a Food Tour...but now will be looking at more opportunities to start their vacations with a foodie adventure!! And then there's those "Birthday" celebrations that are a blast! We stroll in my neighborhood, trying out my favorite restaurants... to include some yummy cocktails (Yep!) .... all while listening to a bit of local history. The best part for me are all of the lovely conversations...that often end with out-loud grins!! Thanks, Andrea, for taking a moment to spread the news!! My best! John

I traveled to Atlanta on business and my mother and two sisters accompanied me on this food tour. This was my family's first food tour, while I have been on several food tours in both Asheville and NYC, and this tour by far was the best of the bunch! John was phenomenal!!! His personality really made the experience special. We just were not eating food on this tour. We were gaining information about the history of Atlanta, visiting sites en route to each restaurant, and getting to know the local's point of view of the area. John was very accommodating of our group's needs. He was not running a tour on the day we needed to go, but when I called him he easily added a day to the schedule to accommodate our group. He even went as far as making sure all members of our group had something to eat at each stop, since a couple members of my group do not eat seafood. It was these extra special touches that really made the tour special. The food was AMAZING!!!!! Without giving too much away, I loved how each place had a different cuisine that was offered to really give customers a nice variety of the flavors of the city. Our group really appreciated the drink pairings with the food as it was a way to try drinks we normally would not have ordered. Not only will you eat in many restaurants, but John will recommend other places of interest to visit. My family ended up going back to two of the recommended restaurants after our food tour, and we were treated like gold because they remembered us from the tour. We even were able to enjoy sweet treats after the tour ended! If you are looking for the best food tour in Atlanta (or in my opinion the best of I have been on so far), do not look any further than Peachtree Food Tours! It may be a tad bit pricier than the competitors but this food tour is personalized perfection definitely not a generic run of the mill food tour. Thanks John for showing my family a great time! We wish nothing but the best for you and your business!

Hi Lisa!! Wow! Now that's a review that captures the heart of my little adventure on Peachtree Street! A simple "Thank you!" seems a bit weak!! So...I'll send along lots of "Thank You's"!! Thank you for introducing your sisters and Mom to what a grand time can be had on a food tour. Lots of food! Lots of fun! And then there's all those stories!! Most are made up (Not Really!) but that's just part of the experience! Thank you for reaching out to see if I could schedule a tour on the only day that you had available. On my website it says, "Just call me!"...and you did!! We talked about the "no seafood" thing, I promised to make everyone happy....and off we went into my Midtown neighborhood! Thank you for mentioning the lovely, clever drink pairings...and for not giving away the surprises (!) that unfold during this afternoon stroll. I love the mystery...and you ladies did too!! Thank You for returning to a couple of the restaurants as I got a complete report from one of the General Managers. Ha! You four were a big hit!! And...Yep! I am a bit pricey but, per your fabulous review, the experience is worth every penny! And part of the surprises are those pretty pink bags of treats that everyone takes home...for later!! Wow! John was everything he advertised on his website plus more. A five star tour. Every journey to a stop John shared a bit of the midtown development history 1900 up to our time. The food combined with special drinks were superb. My husband and I excited to revisit all of the stops again. Everyone felt part of John's circle during his pleasant conversations. His welcoming demeanor contributes to you relaxing and enjoying the tour. John being a local helped us to plan exciting spots to hit during our stay. An amazing experience you would not want to miss.

The biggest compliment is that you and E. felt relaxed, just strolling with John, chatting like old friends...and picking on each other as only friends can do!! I've lived in Midtown for almost 20 years and it's like we're in my neighborhood, running into neighbors, telling stories, stopping to eat and drink here and there. What a terrific way to spend an Atlanta afternoon! I want everyone to enjoy my city so I always try to suggest other restaurants, other places to hang out, and then what's happening this weekend. Here's hoping that you two made it to our Botanical Gardens for their Holiday Light show. Come on back!
