Have a great time in Atlanta’s thriving foodie scene on an fun walking food tour complete with alcohol/food pairings and eat like a local at well-known establishments and hidden gems. Our small groups of 4-15 guests create an intimate, boutique experience (leave the herding to the farmers!) and get you closer to your entertaining foodie host, restaurant partners and your fellow food enthusiasts. Dine on a mix of Southern classics and cuisine unique to beloved Midtown. We had a lovely day meeting new people, trying excellent food in Midtown (which we never frequented much). John was sweet and fun to tour with and made us feel special on our special anniversary (#6). Thank you again John for such a great time and giving us so many new great suggestions in a city we thought we knew so much about...boy did we learn a ton from you!

Hey TA Readers! A couple of really cool things happened on a lovely Sunday afternoon on Peachtree Street. R & P got a chance to try a bunch of restaurants in a part of Atlanta that they don't typically frequent as locals, ending with "new great suggestions"! They learned a bit of history about Atlanta and, in particular, my Midtown neighborhood. Of course there was a lot of "excellent food"! But, most importantly, on this anniversary R & P had a chance to spend some wonderful quality time as they strolled...and ate...and drank...and laughed...together! Happy Anniversary, again! (And, Rachel, thanks for the terrific review!!)

Great fun and food! John was such a great tour guide, very personable, fun and informative. I enjoyed the history of Peachtree St that John shared with us on this walking food tour. Whether you're from the area or out of town this food tour is well worth your time. The food choices and drink pairings were perfect. The burger was truly out of this world! Lynnette

"The burger was truly out of this world!" Yep!! A Las Vegas World Food Competition Winner!! And that's just the first restaurant stop!! Yikes!! Thanks, Lynette, for the terrific review...and for not sharing any of the tour surprises. On all of the other Food Tours I've been on I have always appreciated the "mystery" of the tour. Don't tell me what's next! Let it just unfold! On my Peachtree Food Tour I want you to be thinking, "What the hell is next??!!" ( Oh, dear TA reader, just some more yummy neighborhood tastes!! ) Probably tough for our bride (this was a bachelorette outing 2 days before the wedding!) to relax and enjoy...but the other 6 of you ladies seemed to be having a blast!! Lots of grins that became out loud laughs!! My best to you!! John

If you are in town even for the weekend like we were, this food tour is a complete MUST DO! John, our tour guide was so personable and knowledgeable about the city and really showed us some great (and delicious!) hidden gems within the city - the only thing I wish I would have done differently, was book the tour for the beginning of our trip instead of the end, so we could have went back some of these spots - so much awesome food!!! This is coming from someone who hasn't ever paid more than 60$ for a food tour, and although you may think the price is a little steep, I have to say it was WELL WORTH IT!!! Great portions, great information & fun times! Oh and you get a surprise at the end of the tour - but I won't spoil it for you :) Thank you John, for a fantastic time in the city!!!!! It was lovely, Henry and I had a blast learning about midtown.

...And "Thank You!" Kristi! I don't know that my tour tour was better than the Adele concert that you two drove up to...but I tried!! And...Wow! Your photos! Any closer and you would have been on stage!! So...TA readers...if you're going to do a Food Tour, do mine! Ha! Lots of choices out there but Kristi is spot on with the advice to do any food tour as soon as you can! As she says, there is "so much awesome food!!" that you may miss out on because you did the tour the last day in town. Food Tours will really help you sort through all of the Google advice as you're with a local guide...and we all want you to enjoy the dining opportunities in our city!
