We were met at the Stensland Dock downtown by Captain Alex. There was one other couple also on the boat. With only four of us, it was an incredible, personal tour experience. We visited every part of the Fjords. All told, the trip was 5.5 hours! Had we wanted to see other sights in the Fjords, Alex was game. But he showed us so many places. Being a native to Ketchikan, and having spent his whole life on the water and in the back country, he was full of personal stories. The tour, and Alex in particular, were the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this experience! You will love it!

A GREAT trip to Misty Fjords with John and Larry. This is a not to be missed locale with striking scenery, wildlife, and waterfalls. Went in a fast boat expertly handled, with commentary and wildlife spotting along the way. Learned natural history and about Southeast Alaska history. You should definitely go to Misty Fjords, and I highly recommend Alaska Hummer Expeditions as the way to get there!
