Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a John Wayne movie, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more.

As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Such a great time! Ben was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and lots of fun! Beautiful views - wish we had done the full day trip since we had such a good time!

What a wonderful time my son and I had on this rafting trip. Ashely, our guide, was extremely well informed and knowledgeable about all-things Colorado River and Moab. Our bus driver Dave was kind and caring. She equipment was in good shape and the views were spectacular. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

We had a great time on the rafting trip today. The views from the river are awesome. All of the guides are good at what they do and make the trip fun. We only did the 1/2 day trip and it was in an area of the river where the canyon looks great. Dave the bus driver is a great guy and a very good driver.
