Our guide is just ok. She barely left the van at each stop. The van itself was fine, but it did not come with a foot stool which would have been helpful. The sights covered were amazing.

Larry Team was our Navajo (or Dineh) guide for this excursion, and he was great -- very professional and able to smoothly take us to all the main attractions around Monument Valley with plenty of time to see the awesome rock formations and take pictures. More importantly, he gave deep but fairly direct explanations of history and culture that helped me understand the native perspective, that I had wanted to learn about and share with the children -- more than just the rocks. His story-telling of the Navajo creation myth and the connection between the land and the beliefs was my favorite aspect. He was modest and polite about making sure everyone got what they wanted out of the tour, so did not press any particular view, or talk more than was necessary, but he was willing to answer any more complicated or personal question put to him (which I did). This was a van tour which felt very private, and we appreciated the warmth of the interior, because November is quite chilly.

Monument Valley itself was spectacular, and our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable! I am knocking the tour down by 1-star though because we did not get to see all the backcountry stops as advertised. By choosing the “extended” tour, we assumed we’d have more than enough time to see it all! The other couple in our tour group were a few minutes late, so we were the last tour to leave in the morning. We then arrived back 10 minutes early. We weren’t told we were skipping any spots, so unsure what the reason was. Other than being disappointed for missing some of the highlighted stops, the tour was an amazing experience!

Hey there! Sometime due to bad weather, or damaged road conditions we do have to change designated stops. It is possible to bump us back up to five stars with you really did have a great time? Leaving anything less then a five star rating brings down ratings and has a big impact on us on trip advisor. If you can please just rate how the tour went we would be so grateful. Our company means a lot to us. We want to remain a top company. Thank you!!!
