Crystal our guide was awesome! She picked us up at our hotel right on time. We were lucky enough to have a small group of 6 so our tour was very intimate. Crystal was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of history and background of the area. This was a great tour and I was happy to have opted to take this tour with my two kids (ages 9, 6) instead of renting a car and driving myself. She took the stress of navigating the gorge and finding parking away so I could actually enjoy it as well. It would have been difficult to navigate on my own and know about all the places to stop and see along the way (vista house, waterfalls, viewpoints, etc). Crystal also knew of another way to one of the falls to make the hike easier/faster which came with another plus (picking/eating wild blackberries along the way - yum!). Crystal hiked each of the falls with us providing us with more information along the way, my kids really learned a lot from her and asked a lot of questions, she was great at keeping them engaged and interested. This was not Crystal's fault but the only reason I rated this 4 stars is I would have loved to have more time at Multnomah Falls. We were only given 25 mins and it takes about 16 mins to walk up/down roundtrip. It's such a beautiful sight, we really wanted more time to take the sight in and also visit the gift shop for souvenirs. The 25 mins does not allow enough time if you are also planning to grab a snack and visit the restroom. If anything, hopefully the tour company considers that as possible improvement for the future. Overall, we had a great time and I was happy we took this tour esp with Crystal as our guide! Tip, if you are travelling with kids, book directly with the tour company for the kids rate (half price). Expedia charges the same price for adults and kids.
