I highly recommend this unique adventure. Hot air ballooning over the desert was a trip in every sense of the word. Captain Tommy was funny and informative, and to have it all finish with a seated gourmet breakfast and champagne toast was icing on the cake. In fact, there was cake, too! Thank you, Tommy and Crew Chief Ken for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure in the sky.

Even though my two teenage sons and I are all anxious when it comes to heights, we decided to brave Hot Air Expeditions sunrise trip over the desert. Beyond breathtakingly beautiful, it was well worth the initial nerves. In a remarkably small basket, we ascended to about 1000 feet under the guidance of a great pilot and received a primer on the surrounding landmarks, terrain, and topography. With stellar photos and memories to show for it, this experience cannot be beat. The crew was awesome, the views sensational and the unearthly quiet at those heights something we will never forget. Treat yourself and those you love to this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
