What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

All hot air balloon tours check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Enjoy stunning views of iconic Camelback Mountain in the heart of the Phoenix Valley. You pilot will share the history of this fascinating city and will point out local wildlife and plant life.

Downtown Phoenix

You will be able to see Downtown Phoenix in the distance as you soar over the valley. As you begin to land, you'll see a table complete with linens and china in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You are greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

The experience in its entirety was awsome. Looking down from 3600 feet is memoriable as its different from looking out a air plane window. The champagne breakfast afterwards was is an excellent finish to the experience.

this Company is EXCELLENT!!. My son and I had booked for the morning over Phoenix balloon ride then were caught up in one of several Airline flight cancellation/delays. Hot air expeditions upon hearing our situation completed adjusted our fee to my satisfaction. i can't wait to book again when I'm in that area again. cheers graeme

It was a peaceful view of the desert. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it was very serene way to view the desert. The champagne breakfast afterwards was also a nice touch. One thing to note is that it took more time than I thought (total time from leaving my hotel to returning back to my hotel was 5 hours), but it was very nice!
