What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

All hot air balloon tours check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Enjoy stunning views of iconic Camelback Mountain in the heart of the Phoenix Valley. You pilot will share the history of this fascinating city and will point out local wildlife and plant life.

Downtown Phoenix

You will be able to see Downtown Phoenix in the distance as you soar over the valley. As you begin to land, you'll see a table complete with linens and china in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You are greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

Thank you Hot Air Expeditions for another amazing ride! As Lead Navigator/Concierge at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel I have had the privilege in experiencing first hand what many companies do for their customers. This time around I had the pleasure of having a fellow co-worker from JW Marriott LA Live join me on this adventure. We both were amazed on the service we received from the team. Booking was easy over the phone and got all the correct info by email right after. When booking I made sure I asked for the polite that goes under the name "Captain Yeehaw" I had him the first time and it diffidently made it memorable. When arriving it only took about 15 mins to get to the lunch site and another 15 mins to get up in the air. Once we were up the views were amazing and breath taking. The company is very professional and everyone is very friendly. I love the fact that right after your flight the polite takes the time to talk about the history behind Hot air balloon and makes a toast. While thats taking place the rest of the team set up 2 lovely tables for brunch for everyone. I will highly recommend this company for your first Hot Air balloon ride. Great service and great views!
