The method they use for arrivals and transport to the fly zone unfortunately had us depart after the sun was already up. We were 10 minutes early for our reservation as per the instructions, but did not leave the arrival area until over 30 minutes after our reservation time as we were waiting for our vehicle to be filled. They had already pre-determined who was going with what driver prior to us arriving, so we had to wait for others to fill the vehicle. If they could send people with drivers as they arrive on time and are ready that would be more fair to those people. It is such an expensive experience to be disappointed by departure time due to others not arriving on time. Aside from that, it was a good experience. The views were not great as it was just brown desert (went in November). Our captain was quite dry, but had some good jokes, was extremely knowledgeable and it felt very safe. It was very cool to see the balloons blowing up & floating away while we waited for ours. I wouldn't do this again at this location/time, only because the views were underwhelming and waiting for others put us behind... The whole reason we booked was to see the sunrise in the sky - So that made it hard to feel like we got our value from $662 (CAD) cost.
