What a great way to start the day. Don't miss out on this adventure, sailing over the Arizona dessert in the early morning. The day begins at 5am, gathering with fellow flyers ready to be whisked off to the launch site where you watch as your balloon is inflated. Fifteen of us climbed into the basket of a 420-cubit foot balloon piloted by Tommy. In his expert hands we rose majestically into the air to a height of 7200 feet, then falling slowly down 'til we almost touched the tips of the giant saguaros, then up again. The views across the mountains and Lake Pleasant were spectacular, the landing gentle. And to finish the experience off, breakfast was served al fresco, right where we landed in the desert. Tommy and Nick, our other crew member and driver, escorted us to cloth-draped tables where we were served quiche and fruit with a glass of sparkling wine. Lovely.

It was an extremely fun and beautiful ride. Stephen was our driver and ensured our comfort. He stopped at an extremely clean restroom on the way to the field we're the balloon was. In the basket we were given towels and water and baseball caps to keep us cool. I thought i would feel nervous about the height but I didn't because it was so beautiful and Tom (our pilot) made us feel safe. When we got out of the balloon we were given a delicious breakfast. There were couples celebrating their anniversaries, so they gave us cake and mimosas (cider for the ones under 21). Definitely recommend! Excellent experience!!

Micki, Sounds like you hit the jackpot with a wonderful flight, Steven your driver, Captain Tom and helping others celebrate with cake. This is exactly what we wish for each and every guest who fly's with us; some truly great memories to take home with you. We are also glad that you didn't let a little thing like warm weather stop you from going up, up and away with us. Those baseball caps, towels and water are just a couple of things we know make a big difference when the temps are a bit warmer. Also, thank you for your kind words.

Not only were we on one of the biggest hot air balloons in the U.S., but Tommy was such a fun, funny and great captain! Additionally, they served us breakfast, which is not offered by the other companies! Best anniversary surprise from my hubby!!!
