Captain Don had awesome stories and silly jokes. Floating near the valley floor and thousands of feet above it. Views for as far as the eye could see. Other couples in the basket who were fun to meet and talk with. Great conversation over champagne and a tasty breakfast. There were so many pieces of the experience that were memorable. What I think I loved most was the calm and peace you feel floating almost effortlessly. It allows you to reflect, think, and feel grateful. Hot Air Expeditions has designed and delivers a beautiful experience.

Our entire experience was great from start to finish. The booking and confirmation process was straightforward, and the ride was priced fairly. We did a shared balloon ride and personally I enjoyed having other people in the balloon to chat with! Everything was on time but I never felt rushed - they gave plenty of time for pictures, etc. The crew and Captain John were all very knowledgable, competent, and friendly. Views from 6,500 feet were amazing and it felt so peaceful! Upon landing they had a cute breakfast set up, including hot food, real dishes, and champagne! Overall it was a great excursion that I would recommend or do again myself.

We booked a morning private flight for our Anniversary and had such a wonderful time. Our pilot Bagwell was so professional and knowledgeable and Colton made sure we had fun and was full of energy. We just loved our crew. We are glad we did the private flight since we had the basket all to ourselves and it was more of a personal experience. Floating so high and watching the sunrise is so mesmerizing. We are definitely coming back with friends and family and will be asking for Bagwell and Colton as well :-)
