The hot air ballon ride was amazing. Captain Al and his crew did everything they could to make the trip enjoyable. As if the ride was not enough, the champagne breakfast in the desert was a delightful ending.

I had a great time aboard with Mike Drysdale, the pilot. The ride was great and he was very informational. Would highly recommend. Great breakfast. This was my first time in a balloon and to note, I have a private pilot license.

A balloon ride has been on my husband's bucket list for years. Our resort recommended Hot Air Expeditions, and we are glad that they did. Captain Mickey, aka Captain Yee Haaaw, is a terrific and a font of information. The chase crew, Jeremy and Francisco, are the best. I really don't like heights, but I was not bothered at all by the altitude. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Captain Mickey did a touch and go which was exciting. Conditions were perfect, so we had a longer ride then usual. A champagne toast are brunch are waiting when you land. There are tablecloths and cloth napkins on the picnic tables set up in the dessert. The food is served on balloon plates with real silverware. You learn a little bit about the history of ballooning, and Captain Mickey answers all questions. You may want to skip your morning coffee because there are no restrooms on the expedition.
