I really, really wanted to love this. Of course it was a bucket list item, and I am still glad that we did it, however it just wasn't really what I was hoping for. Tommy was our on the ground guy, he was great, very helpful. Walter was our pilot and I really felt like he was kind of cranky. I can't pinpoint it, I think he may have just been having a bad day, or was disappointed that we had a fairly quiet group. It was my sons birthday and there was also another birthday on board. At the end, we had cake to celebrate the birthdays which was awesome, only they totally neglected to celebrate my son, just the other birthday, even though I had mentioned it at least 5 times to them in one capacity or another. They did have a little banner on the balloon before we went and he got his picture with that, and it was fine, it just wasn't AWESOME. The ride was uneventful, we were down pretty low for most of the ride. When we were up high, it was pretty cool, and I understand that they don't have control over the wind, it was just another part of the ride that fell short of my expectations. Maybe they were too high, but if they were, it was because of all of the other excellent reviews that seemed to promise so much more than what I felt like we got. The breakfast at the end was good, I think they were trying, it just didn't "wow" me like I wanted.
