The entire experience from beginning to end was fantastic! The ride was smooth and so picturesque. Jonathan, Mike and the crew were knowledgeable and entertaining.

We really loved our balloon ride with Captain Bill! He was super knowledgeable and even as an AZ local, I learned a lot of fun facts about our desert that I didn't know! I planned this trip for my husband's birthday and they made sure to provide us with a birthday sign for photos & even had a cake during the champagne breakfast where we all sang to him! When this adventure initially began, we were growing a bit impatient- it took a long time to find the right launch spot because the wind was crazy & we were going to be on a 20 passenger balloon. However, after we got in the air and Bill explained the reasoning for waiting for the right time, we understood- he truly cares about the quality of the experience/ride, not just a quick up & down flight. The ride was so peaceful & beautiful - not scary, like I was worried about. Overall, this was such a wonderful experience & I'd definitely recommend Hot Air Expeditions to anyone else.

As you mentioned, he truly cares about the quality of the experience, so the inflation part may take a bit longer than we'd all like to but we promise, the wait is definitely be worth it. From beginning to end communication was great! They kept me informed of what to expect. Marcus was early picking me up, we had great conversation on the ride. Johnathon was the captain and was amazing. So full of energy, informative and made sure we all felt safe. Erica was on the ground making it all come together. The post ride breakfast was so fun. Best birthday ever!
