We started the day with a breakfast of large pancakes, biscuits, sausage, and coffee eaten at bench style seating. The bus left promptly and it was a nice bus with air conditioning and a restroom in back. Lunch was about $18 each at a buffet in Custer state park. Our guide, Billy, was ok. I was under the wrong assumption that we would be able to spend time in Custer state park, but we drove through it, stopping at spots to look and take photos. It was a long day and a long time on the bus. I admit that in the afternoon, some of us fell asleep as the ride was a bit dull. We ended up back at the restaurant for a musical show and dinner, also served on picnic table benches. All food was plopped on metal plates. Chicken or beef, baked potato, baked beans, apple sauce, a biscuit, and some strange fluffy cake thing. The show was some old guys who's singing was mediocre, but were awesome at their instruments. They also had a young woman who played violin and she was incredibly talented. Overall, it was a long, but good day.
