With this package, you get a lot for your money and a very long day. The place is like an old west town with lots of antques. Supposedly "Dances With Wolfs" was filmed there.
We got there about 7:30AM, picked up our voucher and went for the pancake breakfast. The food hall had a very good singer/piano player for entertantment. At 9AM we all loaded into a very old tour bus with Pastor Bill as our driver and tour guide. He was full of energy, very informative and funny. After seeing and touring Mt. Rushmore, which I thought would be the highlight, we started the rest of the tour through the Black Hills. Pastor Bill and the old bus navigated us through hair pin turns and one lane tunnels which were a little frightening. The scenery was spectacular. We stopped at the Crazy Horse Memorial, saw Custer Park, along with buffalos and other animals and finally got back to the Fort about 6PM. After that there was a big western dinner and a pretty good show.
