We really enjoyed visiting this museum. It had a ton of original revolutionary war equipment in this exhibits. The exhibits or very well laid out and informational. The highlight of the museum is George Washington‘s original 10th that he lived in throughout the revolutionary war campaign. The tenant has a fascinating history which they explain. I would definitely recommend that you add this museum to your must-see list for Philadelphia.

Visited Museum of the American Revolution on 8/10/18. I am a seasoned Museum goer and I can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful, interesting Museums I have ever visited. It's state-of-the-art, opened in 2017, full of technology - big screen video, beautiful displays, and the lynch-pin exhibit, Geo Washington's tent, is spectacular. The tent has its own auditorium, video production, complete with music/lighting! Nice cafe w/eating area inside and out. Great gift shop. One block from Independence Hall. The American Revolution come to life! Go!

This is a recently opened museum that is outstanding for everyone but particularly students in junior high to early high school. It tells the entire story of the American Revolution through several short films as well as displays. Very good value for the price of admission. Clean restrooms. This museum is adjacent to Carpenter's Hall and the Second Bank Building so one can visit those sites as well.
