I'm glad that you enjoyed the tour especially the Historic Pawleys Island Hammock Shops Village. The tour is a mere introduction to a myriad of wonderful places to visit in that part of the world. We cover a lot of territory in two hours and encourage our guests to return to their favorite places. Those places don't ask us to do that, I genuinely love the attractions that I mention and hope that our guests will too. For those considering taking this tour, please know that we only make 3 BRIEF stops. We hop off and on for only a FEW MINUTES. This is not the tour for you if want to spend time at attractions. You'll need to go back later for that, but you will get a lot of history and folklore during the tour.

The speaker knew her history but it was not a fun excursion for us. Hard to hear her and the stories were long. Not our cup of tea

So sorry that the tour was not up to your expectation and that you had difficulty hearing which is why we share at the the beginning a simple hand signal to use if you ever can't hear due to traffic noise, etc. We can certainly turn up the volume at any moment. We try to emphasize as much as we can that this experience is not about spending time at attractions although we do make three brief stops. It is mostly about the folklore and history of our area that you are not going to hear anywhere else. There is a lot to tell and for those who enjoy that type of thing, it's fun...my guests tell me that repeatedly. The tour also serves an introduction to historic sites in the area that you may want to return to for a visit. I have loved these places and stories literally all of my life and hope that my guests will as well.
