Myrtle Beach Area Ghosts, Pirates and Historic Families Trolley Tour

Overview
Take a half-hour ride south of Myrtle Beach on a climate-controlled trolley to the fishing community of Murrells Inlet, SC, and beyond. Hear the quintessential ghost stories that locals have grown up with, background on the pirates who were said to have frequented the local shores 300 years ago, and historical commentary on the influential families who lived in the area and helped shape our nation's history. We are locals and decided to take this tour and we are glad we did! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and keep it interesting throughout. Very nice ride and lots of information packed into the timeframe. We've even discussed taking the tour with family when they come to town to visit. Very impressed!

It is always particularly special to have locals aboard because you had to take time away from your normal day to take in a little folklore and history which a lot of locals haven't even heard of. Thank you so much for being on the tour and of course we'd love to have you and your family back when they are here for this one or our other three tours.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. The tour guide and driver were absolutely wonderful as were the many places we visited. It showed us many wonderful places that we need to return to on our next trip to Myrtle Beach, as sadly this tour was at the end of our visit.

I am delighted that you enjoyed it and look forward to having you on any or all of our other three tours when you return to Myrtle Beach. It was a pleasure having you on the tour.

We were very mislead with this tour. We were hoping for a lot more ghost stuff on the tour and there was barely anything mentioned!! A story doesn't really make it a ghost tour!! Maybe advertise differently, we were very let down by this experience.

I am crushed that you took my storytelling-centric, folklore and history tour thinking that it was something else.Ā  I want all of my guests to have a good experience like the other party on your tour who left the five-star review and the myriad of others who told me as they disembarked how much they enjoyed it. For anyone considering taking this tour, please know that literally a third of the commentary is dedicated to our most famous and lesser known ghosts in the region.Ā  You will hear the legends, the practices and rituals associated with those legends, their origin stories and eyewitness accounts.Ā  The other two-thirds of the commentary as conveyed in the name of the tour is about the pirates and historic families who were once here.Ā  You are taken on the trolley for a Ā½-hour ride south of Myrtle Beach to the area of Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island.Ā  We cover a lot of territory during the two-hour tour.Ā  I stress by using all capital letters in the tourā€™s description of where and what our three brief stops are so that there is no confusion.Ā  In addition, I tell everyone about the wonderful places in that area that guests may want to visit on their own in the future.Ā  To be clear, those places donā€™t ask me (and certainly donā€™t pay me) to tell you about them.Ā  I genuinely love going to them myself and hope that my guests will too.
