Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

We rafted the Lower New River Gorge with ACE Adventures. Our guide Nathan was incredible and very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time!

We have done white water rafting several times before but it was the first at New River. Our family consists of 15 ppl in two rafts. Our guide Richard was super knowledgeable about the history of the river and had tons of jokes that made a hilarious and relaxing day. A shout out for George as well. Our children had the most fun day. West Virginia Adventures is a small outfit compared to many others in the area but they have a top notch operation...safety focus and super friendly. They do an amazing job and take extra steps to ensure we all have a great time. Highly recommended! Will come back to this company again in October to do the Gauley!!

The experience was wonderful and I highly recommend going through this company. I had never gone whitewater rafting prior to this but the knowledge and experience of all the guides made this such a great experience. Our guide was Perkins and he made the trip so fun with his jokes while also informing us of the places to avoid, where to go if we fell off, able to answer any questions, etc. He knew so much about the history and the nature of each rapid. We will definitely be coming back!
