This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

Libby was amazing!!! She has such great stories and is very knowledgeable about the area including architecture, plants, history, etc. she made that two hour tour seem like 5 min because she was such a great entertainer. Very nice and would love to do another tour with Libby if I come back!

Our tour guide (Renee) was extremely knowledgeable. She was a monstrous waterfall of information on the area, the homes, the history, and the construction. She was entertaining as well as informative. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this tour should ask for Renee if she is available.

The Garden District is indeed beautiful, but with a skilled guide like Renee, the history and character of the mansions and their surroundings comes out and make a walk among the live oaks unforgettable.
