This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. What a great historical tour. Our tour guide Jackie was awesome. She was really knowledgeable and had a great way to present all of the history we were hoping for and even an awesome lunch place recommendation! Highly recommend this tour and Jackie!.

Thanks! Jackie really knows the Garden District, and as a resident of Uptown for many years, knows all the best places to eat. The Garden District seems at first more formal than other New Orleans neighborhoods, but with a skillful guide like Jackie, you learn that it has just as many colorful stories as the French Quarter any day! We had an amazing experience with our guide, James. He was really informative and entertaining. Learned a lot about the garden district on this tour. Being a local, he was able to give us interesting tidbits throughout the tour which made us become more familiar with the city. Highly recommend getting this guided tour to explore the garden district!

I enjoyed seeing and hearing about the many beautiful mansions in the Garden District. Our guide was interesting and fun and we learned about the history of the area.
