We went to one (of only two) stops on the night tour and waited over 20 mins in the cold for pickup which never came. In that time we saw 2 Grayline buses. They tried to say it was because of traffic but there wasn't any at that time of night. We tried again the next day to go uptown, using the app to get us to the closest pickup spot. We got on what we thought was the only bus at that stop that would go uptown. WRONG. Apparently multiple buses pickup and go different places from the same pickup spot. Only figured that out after we got frustrated sitting in one spot for 15 mins. If noone is at the pickup spot, why are you waiting so long? Drop off, pick up and GO. I won't use them again. It was a waste of money.

Avoid at all costs ! Me and my Partner were on the last day of our trip and wanted to take a trip round Harlem as it was the only area we hadn’t visited. And was stopped by one of the sellers for this tour. He had his Card Machine out before we could even ask any questions or agree to anything. The time was 15:20 when we booked tickets and specifically told him we was planning on getting some lunch first before taking the tour and was told “That’s fine, Take your time, they run all night”.. So when we had lunch and decided to Return it was around 17:15.. was waiting at the bus stop when we were approached by another seller who advised, when had asked what time next bus to Harlem was, that “the buses stop at 5”, we was never told this when we bought the ticket!!!!! When we said we wanted to go for lunch, the seller could of easily told us then. A Bus then appeared for the Downtown Tour .. so we approached the Supervisor and explained what had happened. In her defence she was very helpful and allowed us to swap to Downtown tour as we couldn’t have a refund. This isn’t what we wanted but accepted this as it was dark now and thought we could see the city at night and didn’t want to just waste the tickets we had. We then sat on this bus for 20 minutes, was then asked to change buses for no apparent reason. We then swapped to this other bus and the tour began. No Live tour guide, just a automated voice through the headsets that was out of sync with the places we was at! The bus driver then decided after around 30 minutes of the tour, to pull up at side of road and claims that he was told he needed to wait 10 minutes. No explanation given then decided to have a argument with another customer because they asked if they could have there money back. Was told NO in as many words. He then set back off and must of drove 100 yards up the road to pull over again for a good 20/30 minutes with absolutely no explanation!! I could see him just stood on his phone having a smoke when there was families that were clearly freezing and had had enough. A tour that should take around 1 hour or so took around 2.5 hours for no reason at all!! Please avoid this company! Earlier in our trip and did the downtown tour with the other sight seeing company that are situated near Times Square and really could fault them! Tour Guide was amazing and really helpful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH TOPVIEW!!!
