Horrible experience and complete waste of money with Top view sight seeing Far too few buses on routes so had to constantly wait over an hour to hop back on. Buses full and we were not allowed on. At one stage first bus that refused us let us on 1hr 20 mins later. We actually decided to use subway on 2nd day after waiting too long for bus and getting cold. When we complained we were offered new tickets that would be valid for one year. No refunds. We should have read the reviews before we parted with our money. People selling tickets everywhere msybe have them driving buses instead. Lots of people recommending a taxi service that is doing sight seeing tours with much more personal service and costs a lot less money

What a joke. $50 (after haggling) which then has loads of charges they call taxes but show as service fees and convenience fees and others I can’t remember. Get to the bus stand a couple of blocks away and wait, and wait. First bus was full so we waited some more. This was the theme of the day. At battery park, first bus was full and the attendant said the ext would be 10 minutes (their own app said it would be 30). 15 minutes later a lady in the queue asked where it was. He said it was just around the corner and would be 10 minutes!! The app was totally accurate - it was 30. But full. Next bus was thankfully not far behind. The journey is painfully slow and the commentary, repetitive and dull. To be honest, it would be cheaper, easier, and much faster to taxi between sights. Avoid avoid avoid.

I paid a lot of money for a big tour, my goal was to also spend time in Harlem, never was told when we were there. Never went through Harlem. I was told by tour guy that yes we would see Harlem and to ride the blue busline. Did not happen. Disappointed.
