Be prepared for long queues and a poorly run operation. Sunk $110 USD in this enterprise. Buses stop at stops for 30 mins. You are better off buying a unlimited pass on the MTA and taking a free ferry to Staten Island for Statue and Skyline views. Very poorly run company with disregard for tourist time. They try and economise too much.

We do a hop-on hop-off in almost every large city we visit. I will never go with this company again. Very disorganized and horrible customer service. Lots of salesmen standing around that don't know anything about the service, no actual staff to help. Finally someone showed up but it took over an hour to catch a bus even though several came and went only partially filled. The app didn't work so they wouldn't let us on. We finally got on a bus and then sat for over 30 minutes at the next stop because we were waiting for some staff member (the driver?) to show up. We never made it to another stop because our bus was in an accident and could no longer move. No one one the staff knew what to do. After sitting there for 30 minutes, we got off. There was no option to catch another bus. We had to take a $50 Lyft to get to our goal destination. We asked for a refund and the company's position is they provided the advertised service. I don't think 1.5 stops in 2 hours is the advertised service.

I was locked on a tour bus after a driver left the bus with no warning and not checking if any passengers were still on the bus. When I brought the incident up to customer service they conducted an investigation of their electronic ticket records. When they were unable to find an electronic record of my ticket they closed the investigation and refused to acknowledge that it happened and that they put me and my party at danger. I gave them time and location details and asked that they find footage from their on bus cameras or attempt to find the bus driver to corroborate my account. However they did not do any of these things. I also asked them if they had safety measures in place for their customers so that locking patrons on a bus would not happen again and they have refused to acknowledge that I have asked any questions. They have refused me a refund but not explained why my case does not qualify when I ask (referring to their terms and conditions). They continually tell me my case is under review but make no progress to actually resolving. They have been stringing me along for 2 months with no apparent intention of resolving my case. They have not responded to my emails for the past 3 weeks. I recently emailed them and was told to call a company number. However that number does not connect with any customer service department and refers me to file a complaint online. There is no apparent way to contact the company for me right now.
