Your tour will begin with your local friendly guide meeting you outside the Hard Rock Cafe 333 Prospect St, Niagara Falls, NY. From there, you will walk through Luna Island on your way to the amazing Cave of the Winds. Here, you will descend 175 ft into the Niagara Gorge before heading out onto a series of walkways leading to the “hurricane deck”

From here, you will make your way to Terrapin Point Observation Deck. You will also have the chance to see the stunning Three Sisters Islands.

Next you will head to the famous Maid of the Mist, where your tour will come to a close and you and your guide will part ways. Before you board, you’ll have a chance to check out the view from the Prospect Point Observation Tower, located directly above the boarding site for the Maid of the Mist boat tour.

Goat Island
On your walking tour of Niagara Falls, NY , your guide will meet you at the Sitting Nikola Tesla Statue near the goat island parking lot. Goat Island is well known for having one of the most magnificent views of both the American and Canadian Falls. After visiting the Tesla statue, your guide will bring you to The next stop on your tour will be Luna Island which separates the American and Bridal Veil Falls. This Island was originally called Prospect Island but it was renamed for the famous lunar rainbows that appear over it on bright, moonlit nights.

Cave of the Winds
At Cave of the Winds you’ll descend into the Niagara Gorge before embarking on a series of walkways leading to the famous “hurricane deck”. It has been said that even on a clear, calm day, a trip to the hurricane deck feels like you’re standing in the middle of a tropical storm! For those who choose to continue with the optional Maid of the Mist boat ride instead, your guide will bring you to the Prospect Point Observation Tower for an up-close look at the Falls before heading down to the boarding site for the iconic Maid of the Mist boat ride. For those who are not continuing with the optional Cave of the Winds or Maid of the Mist visit, your guide will end the tour, give you directions to get back to your vehicle and make some recommendations for things to do in the area. You can then take the rest of the day to continue exploring Niagara Falls, New York.

Terrapin Point is a scenic observation area on Goat Island in Niagara Falls State Park, offering stunning views of the Horseshoe Falls, one of the three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls. It is located on the American side of the border, providing a vantage point to see the powerful cascade of water and the mist that rises from the falls. Renovated several times, it features accessible walkways and viewing platforms for visitors to enjoy the natural spectacle up close.

Your tour will then continue onward to the Three Sisters Islands. The islands are connected by bridges which allow pedestrians to walk across all three for grand views of the raging rapids of the Niagara River before its descent into the Horseshoe Falls. Our tour guide, Jimmy Coyote, was incredible. He was knowledgeable. Most importantly he was patient with our two year old and very thoughtful! It was like he was part of the family. He told us all the best spots and the ins and outs so we could enjoy our trip.

Such a great experience. For the price point, it is amazing. Fully guided walking tour including Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds and amazing guide was there every step of the way. Definitely recommend!!!

Great tour guide, easy walk. Loved the small group and slow pace. Loved exploring Goat Island. Up close to the falls was great!
