Pythian Castle

After check-in, guest enjoy castle lobby. Then our experienced guides set the scene with history and previous photographic evidence. Encouraging you to capture your own along the way. They continue through the castle trying to elicit spirits with various historical triggers. EVP's sessions will take place as well as prior EVP's captured will be shared. Tour includes ballroom, basement, POW cells, tunnel, dungeons and more.

Après l'enregistrement, vous pourrez profiter du hall du château. Ensuite, nos guides expérimentés mettent en scène l'histoire et les preuves photographiques précédentes. Vous encourageant à capturer le vôtre en cours de route. Ils continuent à travers le château en essayant de susciter des esprits avec divers déclencheurs historiques. Les sessions d'EVP auront lieu ainsi que les précédentes captures d'EVP seront partagées. La visite comprend une salle de bal, un sous-sol, des cellules de prisonniers de guerre, un tunnel, des donjons et plus encore.

Good evening. There were some scary parts. Be forewarned there are lots of stairs. Our tour ran late at night and we didn’t get out till after 10pm. There was a great tour guide.

Pro: It is an amazing building and it was enjoyable to tour. Presentation was prepared well. Easy and safe location to find. A night tour of the castle seems like the perfect time of day. Con: It was a bit over priced for the few locations viewed out of the 50 rooms in the castle. It would be much better if more rooms were part of the tour. As for the ghostly residents …. none were viewed on this occasion.

We were there for the castle and would have enjoyed seeing the castle even more in the daylight. For my wife and I, the history of the castle was fascinating and we would love to have seen it all! The "ghost" portion of the tour was a negative for me and a few others, yet many others loved the idea of the possibility of ghosts in the castle. I myself feel that the orbs were nothing more than lighting in a dusty environment. I would recommend the tour of the castle during the day, other events such as escape rooms, proms, weddings, etc. yet I would never do a "ghost tour" again.
