My husband and I had the most incredible time on our manta ray night swim with Hang Loose Adventures! From start to finish, the crew was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable. Watching the manta rays swim so gracefully beneath us was absolutely breathtaking; an experience we’ll never forget! There were probably about 6-7 manta rays that were swimming all around us. One kept rubbing against me and to be surprised it felt like sandpaper but NO they do not hurt you. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, and knew how to have a good time. The boat ride out and back with loud music going felt like we were living the island life. My husband has a fear of dark water which he has been getting over slowly and does not feel to be the best swimmer. However, The crew seriously were the best! They helped everyone get over fears if there were any or if you had questions or needed any assistance they were right there. Don’t hesitate and book the trip and TIP THE CREW WELL. THEY DESERVE IT BIG TIME! Thank you, Hang Loose Adventures, for an unforgettable night in the water!

This was AWESOME!!! From the moment we jumped into the water till we got out almost an hour later there was hardly a moment when we were not watching the manta rays. My husband jumped in first and turned to record our daughter and myself jumping in. Our daughter went first, and as my husband was recording me jumping in, our daughter squealed, "Dad, they are right under us!" We put our faces in the water, and sure enough, there were 5-6 manta rays right under us. Back to the start. It was a little difficult to find the meeting place because there were very few lights on around the marina. However, the directions were great, and we got there with no issues. After check-in, we headed down to the boat. It was a really nice boat with quad 300s for power. It has a bottom deck with bench seating and an upper deck with some padded boxes to sit on. We went up top for the ride out. As you got on the boat, they made you take off your shoes and store them in a bin and then handed you a wet suit top. They were a little damp. I did not like that much. They also had chips, water, and soda for snacking. The mask and snorkel were great, and the defog they sprayed on them right before we jumped in was amazing. The captain and crew were incredible. They taught us so much about the ocean and manta rays. (Avery is a middle school science teacher and has wonderful knowledge) The crew, Bryce, Ryan, and Avery, were funny and engaging. When we got out of the water they had a hot (really hot) shower to rinse off in and warm up in. I would 100% recommend this company and this excursion.
