Beer is the backbone of San Diego and North Park is a beer mecca. The goal of the Beerucation Tour is to dive deep into San Diego’s beer world trying a multitude of different styles, from a multitude of different breweries. We order all of these crazy beers at bars etc. but do we really know what we are drinking, what food we can pair it with, and what makes it so delicious. While sipping on some of these there will be some great knowledge to be found in an area that is filled with art and culture.

-Walk into 3-4 local craft breweries and get a chance to taste and learn about a variety of different beer styles, the brewing process, food and beer pairing and what it takes to start a successful brewery

-Learn how to pair beer with food while munching on some delicious snacks

-Learn about a neighborhood that went from an area filled with street cars to a land of hipsters and famous restaurants

-This is NOT only for beer nerds. (Other options will be available)

If you love craft beer, this tour is definitely for you! Stefan is a great guide with a lot of knowledge! That was an amazing tour experience! We will definitely come back again!

My wife and I traveled to San Diego for the perfect weather and found the best beer I’ve ever had. With a wonderfully informative tour, each of our palates were guided with the samples and pairings. I love beer and this expanded my experience with the multiple drafts while my wife more often drank wine until now. The broad selection gave her a new taste of brew. Lager to sour ales give an interest for anyone really. And, again with the comforting and knowledgeable guide, our experience was even more fun, the history of the town, current artists, and the great surrounding community. Will definitely take another tour next visit.

I've been to San Diego a few times before, but wanted to learn more about the rich history while not being on a boring museum tour. What started out as a group of 14 strangers from different states and even countries, turned into an evening of great food, drinks, and plenty of laughs. Stefan was very knowledgeable and has a special gift for entertaining while also teaching. He encouraged us to try some foods and drinks that we normally wouldn't usually go for, and taught us about how food and drink can compliment each other. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes to learn some history and the ever evolving food and beer scene that is San Diego.
