I took a tour with a friend to check out the Northern Lights and the hot springs earlier this year, and now I'm just getting around to writing the review. I'd definitely book this tour again in a heartbeat. Ricky was our guide and he was a wealth of information. I learned a lot and I laughed a lot too. Ricky has tons of stories and I enjoyed hem just as much as the tour. He tried really hard to help us see the Northern Lights too by driving around different spots, even though he didn't have to do that. Luckily, we were able to see them in the end. Thanks again, Ricky! It was a truly unforgettable experience.

What a great tour. Ricky our guide was outstanding and explained everything about how the tour would go and how to best take advantage of our time at Chena Hot Springs. The Springs is a bit of a "touristy" type place, if that's a word, but we truly enjoyed our evening there. Started at the Ice Museum for an overpriced Appletini, but the sculptures and surroundings made it worth every penny. Then off to dinner for a cocktail and nice meal. After dinner a dip in the 104 degree natural hot springs was a great way to relax before our search for the Northern Lights. The lights did not disappoint, after observing the sky for about 30 minutes Ricky knew just the spot to get the best look and he delivered, it was a spectacular display that night. If you want to take pictures of the Northern Lights be sure to do some research and bring a tripod and camera that allows for exposures times up to 15 seconds. Thanks again Ricky for an incredible evening.
