Paul did a great job entertaining us while it was cloudy & we waited to see the aurora. He had a lot of different things he passed around to educate us such as part of a mammoth tusk, native Alaskan toy & he showed us videos of native Alaskan dances, boating etc. Paul stopped on the way back & we did get to see the aurora. loved his photos with the rubber chicken & aurora. 😊 Murphy Dome would have been a perfect place to see the aurora if it wasn’t cloudy

This was a totally disappointing experience Since the weather was snowing and windy I was concerned for my safety during this driving tour. I asked the tour provider to reschedule. I was told it was not possible. We drove for 40 minutes until the road became impassible. Then the driver turned around and drove another 40 minutes to drop us off at a yurt. The yurt visit involved sitting in a room with 40 other people for 2 hours waiting for the Aurora . To fill the time, the misguided tour leader recited personal stories that were in exceptionally poor taste and had no bearing on the tour.

Hello Kathy, we are sorry you did not have a good time on this tour. Safety is our number one concern and once the road became unsafe, we made the decision to turn around and take you to a location with safe road conditions and great views for the northern lights. As you know it was not snowing all night and at the time of the start of the tour was not snowing. We did have 40 other people up there that have left 5-star reviews that everyone else can read below. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather or the Northern Lights as it is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed and I feel this is the real reason you were not happy that night.

Our tour guide Paul did an amazing job! Although it was too cloudy to see the auroras he kept us entertained and is extremely knowledgeable! Thanks again Ronnie/ Corey
