Despite there were no Northern Lights, it was a nice evening of chatting with locals and a local Iditarod musher and a fire. The yurts were comfortable, there were some snacks in there, although for the price I think expanding the menu beyond cookies, smores and water would be a nice touch, especially on no lights nights. Maybe a hotdog fixings bar to occupy people not seeing lights?? Stoking the fire for the older people that were getting cold woulda been a nice touch too. Our group was laying on top of it practically by 130am and I think the guides were hanging out over at the other fires. It was a nice viewing area and I'm obsessed by photography so I was fine and kept myself occupied just hanging out on the back deck of the yert waiting. Id be willing to book again and give another chance if I ever end up in Fairbanks again. I understand the limitations of of a few people operating 3 yerts with a full bus. I don't mean to be over critical and that's why I'm giving a 4 because if the northern lights showed up I probably would never have thought of the above scenarios. I can tell the guys enjoy their jobs, the bus driver was very safe and hey, its hard to make a living in Fairbanks. Lets give these guys some business!!! lol
