We were driving for hours looking for the lights, we stop in the middle of the rod to see barely the lights.

This was an excellent tour we were able to see the Northern lights and take some great pictures. The young lady who was our guide ,Cassie from Australia ,made this possible .She was very knowledgeable not only about the Aurora's but about Fairbanks in general, Additionally she showed us how to use our own camera so as to get great pictures of the Aurora's which we would not have been able to do without her.On a scale of 1-10 I'd give them a Big 10.
