First thing I need to warn everyone. You cannot cycle on the small paths in the centre of the park. Bikes are not allowed unless you push them in which case this would be a waste of a trip. Nobody warned me of this so as a result I was forced to stick on the main road that goes all the way around the park. This is a mostly flat route with a few shallow hills and some scenery to look at but I would prefer to walk around for 3 hours. The route only took me one hour with a couple of photo stops so went round a second time. The rental company were helpful but i was disappointed in the fact that if you need a basket you have to have a ladies bike.

You may have to wait 10-15 mins when you go to collect your bike that may sound a lot but the queue can be massive but they are very quick so its not too bad.

Where you collect it from is about 2 blocks from the park obviously you can ride there but the traffic is really bad its far safer to walk esp if like me you are from the UK and dont normally ride/drive on that side of the road.

Once in the park its a great ride You really need to give yourself 4 hours at least as there are plenty of places where you are not allowed to cycle although that did not stop some doing so.

You do get a helmet and a lock the only problem can be finding somewhere to lock the bike too but most things that you may want to walk to are only a pretty short walk.

There is a lot to see which is why I say give yourself at least 4 hours

Great way to get around the park. As you keep stopping and park the bike to look around, 3 hours wasn't long enough.
