Yes, you read that right. While visiting NYC on a 4 day trip we did The lower east side food tour on the second day, then the Greenwich Village tour on the fourth day. Dante is that great. Speaking of Dante, he does all the tours himself. It’s his company and you can tell the man is passionate about his work. He is able to masterfully craft history, fun and food all into the same tour. We truly enjoyed ourselves and went back to 3 places he introduced us to on the first tour. I personally think the Lower East Side tour’s food is better, but the sightseeing is better on the Greenwich Village Tour. At any rate, go and enjoy yourself. Dante is #1 for a reason. It’s very affordable and you leave full. Trust me, I went twice!!

We took the 3 hour lower east side walking food tour on December 8, 2018. Dante was our guide. It’s fitting that the name of his company is called “Nice Guy Tours”, because he certainly was a very nice, personable guy. My family and I enjoyed the tour. My favorite was Katz’s deli. I’m not a pastrami eater, but boy, the pastrami sandwich we sampled was awesome. Being part of the tour allowed us to bypass the long, long line there. We also sampled knish, dumplings, bagels, donuts to name a few items. This was a great way to spend an afternoon, exploring lower east side and sampling some of the foods of the Area.

If you're looking for a fun tour of NYC with plenty of food, Nice Guy Tours is the way to do it! And Dante, our tour guide, is one super nice guy! He took care of us, telling us about the history of the places we visited, extra friendly, and you can tell he enjoys his job. We had knishes, bagels, donuts and dumplings, just to name a few tasty eats.Thank you Dante, for making our trip to NYC special. We left with smiles on our faces!
