This tour was well organized and I like the fact that Dante already had the food already picked out for the tasting. That way, we did not have much of a wait and we could also buy other options on our own. It would have been perfect if the seating was also pre-arranged, but Dante was also able to work that out so we could all enjoy our tasting. I'm glad Dante has groups of 12 or less, even though there were 13 in our group, it still worked out. Our group was a mix of tourists, a couple, two sisters and a small group of family with friends...all adults.

The tour and the food were equally facinating, and jet overshadowed by the guide, Dante!! (And his Swedish is not half bad)

As a person, who enjoys a good meal, the name of this tour grabbed me in an instant. It was worth it, I’m pleasantly surprised. The three hours went away like they were three minutes. The guide was great, very well informed of both the food places and the historical sights that we’ve visited. We’ve visited Yonah Schimmel Knish, Russ and Daughters, Economy Candy, Pickle Guys, Kossar's Bialys, Doughnut Plant, Katz's Deli – all of them well renown places. Our first stop was the Knishery and where we’ve tasted some amazing, freshly-backed knishes. I fell in love with the cherry – cheese one. And then we went through all of the mentioned above, and all of them had something to share – Russ’ fish, the Peach gummy rings at Economy Candy, the sour pickle at the Guys’, the Sun dried tomato and pesto bialys, the blueberry crumble…all of them were and are amazing! The tour isn’t only food. I’ve learned a lot about the pushcart culture (I never even thought that this is even a thing). I’m highly impressed by the Tenement museum and its very rich history All in all – I recommend the tour to everyone who loves good food and history.
