Although I have been to Philadelphia before, it has been many years. My best friend and I were sharing a “ girls weekend” away. This seemed like a perfect activity and it was! Seamus was very knowledgeable but also very entertaining. He gave us the “ backstory” on everything we saw and was funny besides. I loved Elspeth Alley. The homes were original and kept up beautifully. This one street brought history alive for me. Carpenter’s Hall was another venue I had never heard of, and yet is so important in US history. What an enjoyable way to spend the morning!!

Seamus was the best tour guide! We took the tour on a Saturday morning when it was drizzly. We didn't even notice the rain, as the information was so good, as was the humor! It was the perfect introduction to the historical area!
