This narrated walk comes from books by David Dominé, who often guides groups himself. Tales involve personal experiences and neighborhood gossip. The New York Times recommends this as the first thing to do during a visitor's "36 Hours in Louisville." You'll also learn about A DARK ROOM IN GLITTER BALL CITY, David's next book—out in October 2021!

Specializing in "America's Most Haunted Neighborhood," we depart from the corner of Fourth and Ormsby, at the transitional edge of the neighborhood. If you love old architecture and spooky history, this is the tour for you! If you do not like an up-and-coming neighborhood with a diverse racial make up, this tour is not for you! If you can't go 100 minutes without a bathroom, this is not for you!

Our tour guide, Angelique, was an amazing story teller. And we were the late tour so the dark brought an amazing atmosphere. I did bring a flashlight and it helped on the uneven sidewalk sections.

I have to agree with a post below about the neighborhood. It is an awful part of town. We showed up, nobody was there. Someone from a neighborhood came to us and let us know this was not safe. We tried several times to reach to the tour guide and got no response. So we chalked up 2 Uber rides, plus the tour. This was for the 9:15 tour.

The post you're referring to was made by a racist, so do you really want to agree with him? We have numerous screenshots of communications between you and your assigned tour guide, not to mention the email confirmations that were sent with detailed information about directions and arrival. You are either an out-right liar or else you went to the wrong location (probably both). When you first contacted us to let us know "nobody was there," there was already a group assembled and waiting for the 9:15PM tour, so something doesn't add up from your end. (Maybe you're visually impaired, as well?) In addition, the guide followed protocol and texted you upon departure at 9:15 to double check where you were and you did not respond. You were already asking for a refund at 8:53PM, and even though you purchased "non-refundable" tickets from a third-party site, we still arranged for your tickets to be refunded.

I very much enjoyed this ghost tour. I learned a lot about Old Louisville and all that “hidden history.” The true crime aspect was intriguing as well. Our tour guide was Angelique. She was very knowledgeable and communicative. The tour last an hour and forty minutes. The 9:15 pm tour was ideal for me. So glad I was able to register so late in the day for it. Take plenty of pics along the your. Also, take two to three pics in succession to catch paranormal activity on your camera. The Victorian era architecture was stunning. I would attend this tour again. It was worth my time and money. I recommend it for anyone visiting or locals as well. We had a few locals in our tour group.
